What is in your Hand?
For the past year, Deuel has been showing a tremendous interest in dancing, especially tambourine dancing. It all started when I noticed a certain dance step that he is doing while at home.
Little did I know that it will be the start of non-stop tambourine dance at home. He would intently watched the dancers during our Friday Worship Service and then grabs his tambourine at home and dance whatever he remembers. Surprisingly he would remember much of the step.
It is actually becoming more interesting as the months passes by. He can now sing and dance all at the same time. And just recently, whenever I sang songs to him, he knows what step will go along with it.
He would dance in our living room while watching, eating, taking a bath, before he goes to bed and even when he wakes up in the morning.

And yesterday, while we were in the car going for a premiere, undoubtedly... he danced again.
Really amazing, simply because God is amazing!
In the bible it says,
Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.
This is my continuous prayer for my children, that they will bring with them the things that we are teaching them and embrace the faith and the love of Jesus throughout their lifetime.
The talents that they have shall be used alone to give glory to God.
How about you? What talent do you have right now? Would you believe that whatever talent it is, God is asking you to use it to bring glory in His name.
As I write this, I remember one simple illustration that I heard before. Probably one of my favorite.
When God called Moses to freed the Israelites from the hands of the Egyptians, Moses hesitant of his calling was asked by God, "What is that in your hand?" Moses replied, "A staff". (Exodus 4:2)
And we know that through that staff Moses was able to do great miracles and was able to fulfill God's work.
Likewise, God is asking us the same question.
"What is that in your hand?"

Whatever your answer is God is asking you to use that to do the work He is asking you to do.
God bless you! Hallelujah!
