Fuss No More! God Provides.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

Philippians 4:12

After doing the groceries, cleaning and re-arranging the kitchen, I can't help but took this photo and be thankful to the Lord.

You wouldn't probably notice it. But because I did grew up not having everything, (not to blame my parents for that because they've been amazing and sacrificed a lot), that shelves of food caught my attention.

I remember when I was young, my mom would tell me and my siblings to go to the "sari-sari store" (a mini grocery store in the Philippines where you can buy food items in small amounts) and owe food so that we can have something to eat for the day. And then our loans would pile up that my mom has to pay first before we could owe again.

Well yeah! Basically, we owe, pay and then owe again.

Gone are those days and I am grateful from my heart that the Lord let us pass through those moments. I can appreciate even a little food on the table.

I praise God for His faithfulness.

But there is more to this life than to fuss about the food that we have to eat for tomorrow. A very encouraging verse that we can read through  Matthew 6:25-34.

Living a life of worship and in awe to God is more important than all the things that we can see in this world. So instead of worrying yourself about the clothes that you have to wear or the food that you have to eat, I believe that trusting God for who He is makes a lot different.

The birds and the flowers in the field are being fed and clothe everyday. So what's the fuss about? If God cares about these things, will He not care more to you? - Matthew 6:30

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you

Matthew 6:33

Isn't that a very wonderful promise?

MAKE GOD YOUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY and you will not have to worry about anything that you need.

We might think that we are doing God a favor by making Him our priority, but in fact its the other way around.

Contentment combined with full trust in God makes our life happy and positive. It even gives more room for us to do great things for the Lord such as serving in the church and expanding or enhancing our gifts and talents to be used for God's ministry. It also helps us to focus on important matters of our life and even allows us to see and help others.

So, fuss no more! God provides.
