Grown Ups
While viewing the recent photos in my phone, I can't help but become sentimental. I know that its only been a year or two and I wonder how these people who are close to me have grown so fast.
A part of me rejoices for their development/maturity, but a part of me wanted to keep them as fragile as they are before.

My sons. They are growing up like weeds. Oh! It seems like it was only yesterday. I even remember how my husband has been so excited to hear them utter their first word and how excited he is to have a father and son talk.
Yes they are talking a lot nowadays, started learning how to read, trying to count from 1 to 100, making doodles (on our wall - check!) and writing alot.

Our eldest started learning how to write his name |

Those were just the few things that they can do now. But more than those, I'm grateful to the Lord because they are getting along really well. They learn from each other everyday. Yes there were fights in which I believe is part of this so called growing up stage.
And finally, our youngest bravely conquer her fear with the scissors. We are now saying goodbye to crying moments while his hair is being cut.
Patience pays off.
Looks like he enjoyed the visit with the barbers last 2 days ago.
Praise God.
Youth in Ministry.
Aha! Yes the eldest among them is 19 now (though I will not say who "she" is).
Five or six years ago when this ministry has been handed over to me, they were so young and innocent. Since then they have captured my heart easily because I've seen how hungry they are with Lord. Their willingness to give their heart to Jesus without reservations is just contagious.

Most of them?! All of them rather is part of the Praise and Worship Ministry now. They can sing, play the instruments, dance and boldly being used to lead our congregation in prayer and evengelism.
Praise God for their lives. Really, what I've seen through their lives is an obvious evident of the grace of God. All glory to Him.

Though emotional with all these growing up season, I can't help but be amazed on how the Lord can make something simple and turn it into something marvelous and beautiful.
Truly they are one of God's wonderful blessings to my life. They just keep on inspiring me everyday. Well, I think they are there for that reason. What an awesome gift from God.
P.S.
The boys wanted their own bed now. (Yes. Growing up really really fast, why such a hurry?) Thankful that my eldest is happy and contented with my improvised bed for him.

Yes he is sleeping on the floor. But don't worry I make sure that he is kept warm and comfortable.
But if you are like me who wished to give them a new bed and renovate their room, you can help and support them by buying their pre-loved clothes.
Please go to my shop (click here) and feel free to share it to your friends as well.
God bless you.
