My Little Dinosaurs
I had this new habit of joining contests online. Especially the ones I see in Facebook. Most of it would require to share and like their page. And there were some who would require to send a photo as part of the contest. One of my favorites is when it requires me to share my babies photos and they would post it in Magazine, Website or Facebook page. I am proud! Yeah!
Luckily?! Or should I say blessed enough... I won last 2 weeks ago! It's a competition by UAE4kidz. Joining is simple. I just send them a photo of my kids with their costumes (and since we love going to themed birthday parties, we have a lot), and just be surprised to receive an SMS and e-mail declaring that I won.
My price? 200 AED worth of costume for my baby. Not bad! This is just one of the reason I loved joining competitions like these. The mechanics are simple and yet the gifts are just awesome.
It took us almost 2 weeks to pick-up our price because of their timing which doesn't match mine and my husbands'. And so finally, yesterday we went to their branch in Uptown Mirdiff Mall.
Upon reaching the place, me and my husband was like, "we should've brought the kids with us". It's our first time to go there and we really appreciate the place. It's like you are in a different place. My husband says it is similar to Rome. They have an inflatable slide which in the end I think we have to pay for the kids to access... (Good thing, we didn't bring the kids... haha!) (Sorry I don't have the photo)
The mall is not like a typical building with shops inside. It was actually an open area which I can say is perfect only for winter. But because I love this kind of setting, I appreciate everything about it. We just noticed that there were very few people going there and some shops are already closed.
While roaming around we found the the Zaks Uniform shop where we will claim our price.

We are given a lot of choices, from super hero costumes, different animals and so much more.
What to choose when you all want them. |
And after some time we decided to get a monster costume that looks like a dinosaur because we thought that the kids would love it.
At the cashier |
The store is quite interesting. They have so much party supplies, school uniforms and other cool stuff for kids.
After that, we immediately decided to go back home, since Daddy has to pack for his trip tomorrow. But on our way, we saw this and thought of giving it a try!
It was yummy for the 1st and 2nd stick but on the third it was too sweet. We bought 12 pieces though we thought that 6 pieces of it is enough for us. We had white chocolate dip but the cashier gave us a caramel dip for FREE.
So what happened to the dinosaur costume?
Well yeah! It was quite exciting... at first. When I told Deuel to try on the costume, he willingly and excitedly put on the jumpsuit but upon seeing the head cap he started crying and then refused to wear it saying that "Kuya" (older brother) should try it first. In my frustration, I forced him to wear it, and took a picture of him immediately.
Crying at first... |
Yes! He is crying. So I decided to put it on to Duke. Which he enjoyed so much!
And yeah, as always, upon seeing "Kuya" enjoying the costume, Deuel apparently likes to try it on again.
Funny is he wants it so much that he likes to wear it while sleeping. Which I refused. Though I told him he can wear it again tomorrow.
That's how our Fun Saturday came up! Thank you so much UAE4Kidz for choosing me and and ZAKS Uniform for assisting us to choose the perfect costume for my babies.
Now, I'm dreaming of winning a hotel stay with pool access. The kids are so much into swimming. Praying...
