Drink Up!

I am feeling a little off today.

Probably because of the sleepless night I had for the past 2 days. Well, yeah I guess and I must admit, its because my sleep buddy is not home for business trip.

So, last night I really tried going to bed early, but because the kids are still awake, I woke up after 30 minutes and managed to sleep after 1 to 2 hours. But I guess its still not enough. As I reached the office today, I am feeling dizzy and felt like vomiting.

I seldom drink medicine & energy drink or not at all. But mostly if I lack sleep, has colds and cough or tired,  my remedy is to take a real good rest and drink lots of water. Then I'll be fine.

Some of us might feel the same way too emotionally and spiritually.

You might felt tired and exhausted because of your problem right now. Problem that gives sleepless nights because of over thinking the solution.

Or maybe sometimes, you are so burn out in your ministry in the church. You are worn-out and felt like quitting because you cannot bear the responsibility and the rejections of other people.

Or suddenly you are in a very uncomfortable moment of your life. A sudden change perhaps?!You are out of your comfort zone. Maybe the Lord asks you to step up the level of your faith and service. He asked you to go out of the church for a mission and to disciple lost souls. But you are not used to this change. Because you are happy and contented inside the church being in fellowship with other believers.

Whatever is your current situation right now, do not forget the source of living water.

Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again. Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst—not ever. The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.”
John 4:13-14 (The Message)

Drink! How? Through prayer, reading the word of God and giving the right and true worship to God.

“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”
John 4:13-14 (The Message)

Jesus is "The Source Living Water". We maybe busy in our personal life, at work and in our ministry, but we have to keep in mind and heart to always reserve a special time to be with the Lord. Through this, we are welled up everyday, giving us enough strength to go on for a day.
