Help Spread Breast Cancer Awareness

Went with the husband yesterday to Abu Dhabi. Though I am pretty much tired from last night's Prayer Retreat, i opt to come with him since it's actually hitting 2 birds in one stone. Spending quality time with family while Daddy is working. Plus, he's been asking me to come since last Saturday which I declined because of prior appointment with a friend.

My husband works in semi-government company,"Friends of Cancer Patient". Month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They usually roam around UAE to spread awareness not only to women but also to men. I've learned from my husband that it is not only women who are prone to this but also men. Yesterday, they are schedule in The Mall Abu Dhabi (World Trade Centre)that's why we went there.

Outside the mall entrance are the Pink Caravan Horses where you can take photos. Unfortunately, my babies are not so fond of the animals seeing live. I think its okay for them to see it in TV, as pictures and as a toy.

Then of course I did get my chance to have a free breast check-up. Yes its FREE! They even gave us a free VOUCHER and FREE PINK nail color as part of spreading the awareness. You just have to add a PINK DOT to your nails and VOILA!, You are now part of spreading the breast cancer awareness. I actually find the PINK DOT cute! Of course, you have to post it in your INSTAGRAM with the hashtag #breastcancerawareness. That's not it, another FREE VOUCHER from the nail spa who sponsored the pretty FREE PINK nail color.

In the end I thought I was the one whose giving a favor to my husband. But I can say that I am the one who got the BEST TREAT. Not only hitting 2 birds in one stone... but 5, and all for FREE!
